“What’s happening to the Australian Press?”
Newspapers are sacking journalists…newspapers are becoming thinner, investigative journalism is shrivelling. The shrill voices of bigoted pundits dominate the airwaves. Governments of both sides hate the ABC.
Where do we find the real story? Is the era of trusted journalism over?
Paul Bongiorno OA, four-time Walkley award winner, one of Australia’s most trusted, and experienced political journalists will address these questions. Paul is regularly heard with Fran Kelly on ABC Radio National.
What is the real story? Where do we go for real news?
Find out when Paul Bongiorno comes to Berry
2.00pm, Sunday 4th March 2018
Berry Uniting Church, 77 Albert Street, Berry
Cost: $25 per ticket, includes refreshments

This group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Speak and Easy Cafe, 45-51 Collins Street, Kiama (opposite the Masonic Hall) at 10.45 am.
This is for all men of our church and any other male friends you think might be interested in joining us. There is a different topic each month and everyone is invited to share a 3 minute talk on the topic. Lots of laughter and maybe even some wisdom to be shared.
So coming along and enjoy.
If you’ve never experienced the joy of this event, please join us in the Fellowship Centre for a wonderful time of hymns, harmony and sharing our love of the Lord. Stay afterwards and enjoy some fellowhsip and afternoon tea.
This is open to all lovers of traditional hymns who love to join together and sing praises to their Lord.
The afternoon begins at 2.00 pm and is concluded by afternoon tea and fellowship.
If you would like to join us and you have a request for a particular Hymn, worship song or chorus, please ring Gail on 4232 1630 or Reuben on 4233 2490
