The shed is exceptionally well equipped and provides a wonderful opportunity for men to do their own work, learn new skills and meet a bunch of beaut blokes! The men usually stop for morning tea and share a monthly BBQ lunch following their meeting. They have guest speakers and are involved in work for the community as well.

The Kiama Men’s Shed is sponsored by the Kiama Uniting Church and is a member of the Australian Men’s Shed Association, (AMSA) .

In the five years of operation we have expanded, moving from a rather small blockwork building at the rear of the Church to the former manse which has been substantially modified to suit the operations of the ‘Shed’.

The purpose of the shed is to promote the well-being of men within the community, to help with camaraderie, social interaction and the swapping of ideas and skills.

The shed has many members with differing professions and trades skills all of which helps with the safe running and working environment within the shed.
